The MRU OneCard portal lets you manage your OneCard account. With its online account management system, you can load funds to your card by purchasing a dining plan, add Flex Dollars, upload your photo online, view your account activity and manage your card.
How to sign in
To sign in, click the 'Sign in' button below and enter your MRU login credentials if necessary.
Uploading your photo
For new students uploading a photo for your OneCard:
- Click the 'Sign in' button below
- Choose your mtroyal.ca account
- Go to "Profile" at the top of the page
- Click on "Click to submit a new photo"
- Take or upload your photo
- Click "Submit for Approval"
- Check your MRU email to make sure the photo was approved - this could take up to one (1) business day
- You will receive a confirmation email when your OneCard is ready for pickup. Please allow three (3) business days for processing.
- You will pick up your OneCard on campus in Lot 4 by pedestrian pickup. For detailed instructions, visit mru.ca/campusstoreupdates.
MRU Dining Plans are now available!
Purchase a dining plan and funds will automatically load onto your OneCard. For students purchasing a dining plan:
- Sign in or use the guest function below to purchase a dining plan.
- If you are using the guest function, you will need an @mtroyal.ca email address once you’re in the portal to purchase a dining plan.
- Click "add money" to your preferred plan.
- Make sure the “Specific Amount” bubble is checked.
- If you are purchasing the Classic or On-The-Go plan, you will see a set payment amount of $800 or $500. If you are loading Flex Dollars, you will need to input your preferred dollar amount.
- Click “Next” to proceed to the payment page.
- Type in your payment information.
- Click “Submit” to process your payment.
- You will be taken to a deposit confirmation page to review and confirm your purchase. To complete the transaction, click “Make Deposit”.
- On the next page, make sure to click the “Save Payment” bubble. This is necessary to schedule your next payment or set up recurring payments (Flex Dollars).
- Fill out the “Payment Method Alias” box and click “Save”.
- Enter your email address to receive a receipt and click “Send Receipt”.
- To schedule your second payment for the Classic or On-The-Go plan, or to set up recurring payments to your Flex Dollars account, return to the homepage.
- Click “add money” to your previously selected plan.
- Select “Schedule for later time” or “Create a recurring schedule” from the dropdown menu.
- Pick your preferred date and time and click “Next”.
- Follow steps 4-6. Make sure your saved payment method is selected under “Payment Method” before proceeding. Note that Classic and On-The-Go plan fees are due Oct. 15. If you are setting up a recurring payment to your Flex Dollars account, make sure to select an end date for your payments.
- On the next page, review your purchase information and click “Submit Scheduled Deposit” to confirm your payment schedule.
If you do not save your payment method, you cannot set up scheduled or recurring payments. If you have a saved payment method, you can also use the Transact eAccounts app to manage your account.
All bonus Dining Dollars will appear in your Flex Dollars account after you purchase a dining plan. If you need to add money to your Classic or On-The-Go plans, you can make a payment to your Flex Dollars account.
